A News Feed is a dynamic section of your LiveWeb site that automatically displays a list of articles marked as a certain category, e.g. 'News'. It’s perfect for posting news or blog-style entries, all managed from a single category and displayed in date order.
To add articles to a news feed, you must first assign articles to that specific category, e.g. 'News' or 'Blog'
- Navigate to
Content > Articles - Click 'New' to create a new article, or open an existing article that you want to add to the category.
- Fill out:
- Title – Headline for the news article.
- Category – Select the the category you want the article to go under, e.g. 'News'.
- Content – Add your news article content using the editor.
- Tags - Assign a tag to further filter items, e.g. for different events.
- (Optional) Add an Intro Image under the Images & Links tab—used as a thumbnail in the feed layout.
- Click Save & Close
Note
Repeat this step for each new article you want in the feed. Newest articles will appear first.
