Image galleries are a great way to showcase visual content from your event. In LiveWeb you can easily create and manage galleries using the built-in Gallery component.
Access the Gallery Component
- On the sidebar go to
Components > Galleryto access the Galleries management screen - Either click New to start a gallery from scratch, or select an existing gallery to duplicate its settings.
Name and Set Up Your Gallery
- Enter a title for the gallery (e.g. "Event Photos YYYY”).
- Add a category to assign images to, e.g. 'Images'
- Click the red circle Camera icon to upload images from your computer (Desktop), or from the site Media (Folder).
- After uploading the images, you can reorder the images, add titles / captions or remove images.
- To adjust the gallery settings, click the 'Settings' button on the top-right.
- Make sure you save changes before exiting.
Display the Gallery on Your Site
There are two ways to add a gallery to your site:
Add to an Article
- Edit the article where you want the gallery to appear.
- Click the blue Gallery button at the bottom of the article editor.
- Select the gallery you wish to insert.
- The gallery will be inserted automatically using a shortcode.
Add via a Module
- Go to
Content > Site Modules - Click New and select Custom module
- Click the blue Gallery button at the bottom of the editor.
- Select the gallery you wish to insert.
- Choose a position for the module, and set visibility via the Menu Assignment tab.
- Save the module to publish it.
