Image galleries are a great way to showcase visual content from your event. In LiveWeb you can easily create and manage galleries using the built-in Gallery component.

Access the Gallery Component

  • On the sidebar go to Components > Gallery to access the Galleries management screen
  • Either click New to start a gallery from scratch, or select an existing gallery to duplicate its settings. 

Name and Set Up Your Gallery

  1. Enter a title for the gallery (e.g. "Event Photos YYYY”).
  2. Add a category to assign images to, e.g. 'Images'
  3. Click the red circle Camera icon to upload images from your computer (Desktop), or from the site Media (Folder).
  4. After uploading the images, you can reorder the images, add titles / captions or remove images. 
  5. To adjust the gallery settings, click the 'Settings' button on the top-right. 
  6. Make sure you save changes before exiting.

Display the Gallery on Your Site 

 There are two ways to add a gallery to your site:

Add to an Article

  1. Edit the article where you want the gallery to appear.
  2. Click the blue Gallery button at the bottom of the article editor. 
  3. Select the gallery you wish to insert.
  4. The gallery will be inserted automatically using a shortcode. 

Add via a Module

  1. Go to Content > Site Modules
  2. Click New and select Custom module
  3. Click the blue Gallery button at the bottom of the editor. 
  4. Select the gallery you wish to insert.
  5. Choose a position for the module, and set visibility via the Menu Assignment tab. 
  6. Save the module to publish it.
