Menu items help visitors navigate your LiveWeb site by linking to articles, categories, forms, external pages, and more. This guide walks you through creating a new menu item and assigning it to the right place in your site's navigation.
Create an Article
Before adding a menu item, it's recommend to first create the article which the menu will link to. For further information on how to do this, see Creating An Article.
Access the Menu You Want to Add To
- Navigate to Menus in the sidemenu panel.
- Select the menu you want to add the item to (e.g. Main Menu).
- Click the New button in the top-left.
Name Your Menu Item
In the title field, name the menu item to reflect the article you created. This will automatically be added the site url.
Select Your Content to Link To
- Under Menu Item Type select Articles > 'Single Article'.
- Select your article from the list of available articles.
- Save the menu item, and it should now appear on the site under the selected menu.
